With this system the belt is literally carried on air. Air is blown into the plenum chamber by means of a small fan and enters into the conduit area via holes carefully positioned along the length of the trough.

Carrying idlers are made redundant (only at drive- and tension station a few transition-idlers are installed) and in that way the belt will run almost friction free.

A minimum of moving parts mean a minimum of down-time, wear, energy consumption and maintenance.
